A PROPORTIONATE SERVICE
From a single object to a structured project.
Your requirements may concern a fragile object, a group of items to be relocated, a collection to be organised or thousands of documents to be digitised. The service is therefore defined according to stages, priorities, quantity and intended outcome.
When a project requires different areas of expertise, the work can be integrated into a multidisciplinary team of conservator-restorers, archivists, cataloguers, photographers, IT specialists and institutional staff.

REQUESTING A QUOTATION
Five details make an initial discussion more effective.
1. Type of objects — books, documents, photographs, drawings, parchment or other materials.
2. Quantity and dimensions — approximate number, size of the collection or measurements.
3. Known condition — visible issues, previous treatments and current storage conditions.
4. Location and timescale — site, accessibility, deadlines and operational requirements.
5. Objective — protection, digitisation, relocation, exhibition, consultation or enhancement.
A HYBRID PROFILE
Material conservation and digital expertise within the same project.
Training as a Cultural Heritage Conservation Technician is combined with professional IT experience and specialist development in heritage digitisation, metadata, Digital Libraries and Digital Humanities.
This makes it possible to understand both the physical requirements of the original and the structures that make images, data and digital documentation usable over time.

From this information, we can define priorities, activities and the most appropriate way of working together.
